    CDRA is an African, non-profit, non-governmental organization that works to build the capacity of organizations and individuals engaged in development and social transformation. The web site contains numerous online resources for capacity building and contact information for the Association's African-based resource center.

  • Development Directory Online
    Browse lists of development organizations by region and even by country. Click on the region you are interested in and you can then download the entire regional list in Adobe pdf to browse through and/or print. The directory provides basic information and some countries have more complete and accurate information than others.  In most cases, each entry provides a contact person with all of the contact information including address, phone, fax and email.

    The IFCB is a global initiative launched by Southern NGOs (SNGOs) from Asia-Pacific, Africa and Latin America in an effort to focus on key future priorities of capacity building for SNGOs  to enhance their effectiveness in addressing issues of poverty, marginalisation, democratisation and strengthening of civil society, human rights and sustainable human development.

    MWENGO's mission is to strengthen the capacities of NGOs in Eastern and Southern Africa to articulate and implement a development agenda rooted in African experience and analysis.
  • USAID/PVC (Office of Private and Voluntary Cooperation)
    PVC provides direct support to efforts made by the U.S. PVO community (private voluntary organizations) and by its local partners (non-governmental organizations - NGOs) to address critical needs in developing countries and emerging democracies. PVC also aims to strengthen the capacity of local NGOs and community groups to deliver sustainable services, particularly to underserved communities.
