Acknowledgements for the FSRC Online Database
FAM's Food Security Resource Center (FSRC) database has been built on the work and dedication of many people. First and foremost, FAM would like to extend its deepest appreciation to programmer Jeff Marshall, who donated his time to convert the database from a PC-based utility to an online utility, thus bringing the FSRC's collection to a wider audience in an easy-to-search format.
In addition, thanks go to FAM's technical mentoring partner, Food for the Hungry International (FHI), and particularly Rick Richter, Director of Information Technologies, who facilitated work on the database and provides the database a home on the internet. FHI continues to provide technical expertise and backstopping to augment FAM's information resources, to the benefit of all FAM members and the wider food aid community.
FAM would also like to thank Jessica Graef, former Technical Information Specialist at FAM, and Ted Okada, formerly of FHI, who laid the groundwork for the online database in 1999.
